I’ve been using textfugu for 4 months but I’ve never introduced myself or used the forum…

In Japan for about 2 months now. Since I am here I didn’t study hard! Don’t know what I was thinking. I was going to learn Japanese like magic in Japan!? Time to get things done!

I am currently living in Nagano where I feel my Japanese can improve faster. In a couple of months I wish to move to Tokyo or Osaka to work in the video game industry.

My love for Japan of course, I am into Japanese martial arts and history. I’ve worked 7 years in the game industry and I’ve always been a big fan of Japanese games.

Working at a grocery store, only part time but I am more than happy given that I am not functional in Japanese yet!

I wish I prepared more before coming to Japan so I wouldn’t have to do everything at the same time. I am not as efficient as I would in my own country obviously, still knowing that it can be frustrating sometimes but so far people have been very helpful. It’s challenging but I feel this adventure can be really rewarding with hard work and a bit of luck! Oh and did I mention how kind people are here ;)
