Unfortunately my mac doesn’t have a language tool like windows does, well I haven’t found it yet, so I’m stuck with romaji for now. (insert sad face)

My reason for learning japanese is simple. I play guitar, so I want to be THE super smash box office hit on the J-pop Rock scene. Heck ya! Who would’t right? haha. Japanese culture has always interested me. It all started with a Nintendo power when I was in grade 2 or 3. Somewhere around there. There was an ad about Megaman or some other game but it was only offered in Japan, or something like that. Those details aren’t important BUT…after that moment in all of my following years in school whenever a project was offered on japan I took it! I just could’t get enough of japanese culture. Whenever I walked into the local library I would always run to the foreign history section, where books on japan were kept, and look for any new books because I had read every book on japan in that library! haha. (1 book) Just kidding.

I want to move to japan someday, next year sometime HOPEFULLY, or should I say PLANFULLY? if that’s a word. And, either go to school, which I would so love to do, or possible teach english or music. I would actually want to travel around Japan first just to see which cities I would prefer. I really want to move to Tokyo but I’m also leaning towards Osaka! (Everyone has a way better sense of humour in Osaka especially Kyoto!) Ha!

Oh! I almost forgot. Does anyone know how to get or use the language tool on a mac, the one like windows? Thanks in advance!
