I’ve been learning it since I’m very young and I’m still far from being fluent. Where I come from there is some kind of cultural clash between the English and French community so it’s very difficult to practice conversation.

I’ve been a TextFugu member since this summer and I’m almost done with season 2. It’s getting a little difficult so I want to use the forum, but I don’t want to be a pain by posting stuff with a lot of mistakes in it…

I want to learn Japanese because I’ve always been interested in foreign cultures and studied a lot of them in my research projects in college. I realized I didn’t study Asia and knew nothing about it so I looked at the ”Asian Studies” program in university and found out that they’ll teach me Chinese and Japanese. I decided to begin with Japanese and love it so far.
