I love listening to my favorite musician Utada Hikaru, but I would also enjoy being able to understand her work from a lyrical point of view; and being able to understand
others in the Japanese music industry.

I want to one day take up digital painting. To learn to paint digitally and to speak Japanese
would make me a very marketable person; coupling the two would open doors worth while.

I want to visit Japan and possibly reside there.

I would love to meet and speak with not only Utada Hikaru, but my favorite composers Nobuo Uematsu and Yasunori Mitsuda.

Japanese characters are fun to learn :)..

Diving into something this challenging brings me a great deal of instant gratification. It’s exhilarating to take on something so elaborate.

I have a great appreciation for Japanese media. Although I was unaware of it in my younger years. Playing the Japanese version of Chrono Trigger would be grand :)…

Gackt is damn good. Check out some of his more recent stuff, sometime. He’s a genius, and lyrically (since I assume that’s what you like most about music; understandable) he’s very good for translating and seeing how beautiful it is in both languages.

But we’ll just keep that Miyavi comment a secret… Hahaha. I hate his baseball caps so much. :(

I should definitely look at exploring these interests from an analytical point of view…might help my learning Japanese more progressive.
