Or even Japanese dubbed English movies? I know you can buy movies from YESASIA, Amazon.JP and websites like that, but the prices are pretty high. I was looking for Independence Day dubbed in Japanese, Avatar dubbed and also some Japanese movies but I had no luck with the prices. That is until I had a little epiphany, why didn’t I just check Ebay? I’m glad I did! I got Alien Vs Predator 1 & 2, Titanic, Independence Day, Alice In Wonderland (The new funky one) and all of them were dubbed In Japanese. There is also allot of Japanese original movies on there too. The price was under £20 ($32) and they were all brand new! So if any of you haven’t thought to check Ebay out yet, I recommended it highly to do so! Does anyone else have awesome places to visit to do with movies? Maybe you all already know this and i’m making a fool of myself. :)

Way too tired right now.

Anyway, http://www.bk1.jp/product/83870316 Although Japanese websites probably aren’t the best since I believe the Japanese pay quite a lot for dvds there. Kind of odd considering how incredibly cheap rental is.

But yeah Amazon is pretty sweet too. YesAsia is ok, but their prices are upmarked a bit more than usual and their base is in Hong Kong so you gotta make sure you aren’t accidentally buying a Chinese copy.

Also, It’s always going to be a little bit better to watch movies that are written and acted in Japanese. Theres a lot more to language than just the words. You learn a lot about contextual language and general habits. (from slice of life style shows anyway)
