I’ve been on TextFugu for awhile (pretty much since the start) but haven’t taken the step to learn Japanese consistently until now.

I want to learn Japanese because: (1) I love Japanese music and would like to be able to know what the lyrics mean; (2) I love manga and would like to read it without needing to wait for translations; (3) I want to visit Japan and not need a translator.

I know there’s only little reasons too, but those are the main ones. I look forward to talking to you all in both English and Japanese from now on!
