Okay, don’t know if anyone even KNOWS about Sasebo (Nagasaki prefecture), but now you have a reason to visit if you find yourself in southern Japan sometime.

I know– Eating burgers in Japan? A little bit against the grain, right? But if you try one of these Sasebo burgers, you’ll never forget it. This one was from Log Kit, but another good Sasebo burger place is Big Man. Big Man cuts their bacon fresh every day, and every Sasebo burger usually has a fried egg in it– as if it’s a staple to the burger. Cost is between $5 and $7, which is amazing considering the quality and taste.

I’ll put it this way. This December I’m going back and staying in either Kokura or Kagoshima (both in Kyushu), but i will likely dedicate half a day just to eat one of these again. And I’ll probably do it at least five times in my 3 week stay.
