My name is Stephen. I’m 21 years old and have always wanted to learn Japanese ever since I was a little kid. Back then I wanted to learn so I could play video games before they were localized, but now I’m finally putting forth the effort to do so because I want to broaden the ways in which I think.
The little exposure to the Japanese language I’ve had makes me feel that its grammar is a more natural fit for my thought processes, so I’d like to learn it in order to find new ways to express the thoughts I sometimes have difficulty articulating in English.
