How many of you guys are taking the JLPT next week? And how many of you are gonna be at Lehman College at NYC?
November 27, 2012 at 6:28 pm #37336Not I, but very interested in how it goes, what it’s like. Good luck.
What level are you doing?

November 28, 2012 at 1:40 pm #37346I was going to go for N3 this year, but life got in the way. I think I’ll double-bubble down and go for N2 next December. I probably won’t pass it, but I’d like to see how good I could do.
November 28, 2012 at 2:10 pm #37347If you get a lot of N2 problem books, you’ll have a better idea of whats gonna be there plus just fill in the gaps of whatever you don’t know and you would have an entire year to do that. Not doing so would be like wasting your time (as it relates to learning Japanese).
November 28, 2012 at 2:11 pm #37348Basically learning on the go, and you’ll have plenty of time to do that.
November 28, 2012 at 7:25 pm #37350What’s the point of JLPT?
November 28, 2012 at 8:32 pm #37351If nothing else, it’s an official certification of your level of Japanese skill.
I pondered N4 this year, but chickened out in the end…
November 29, 2012 at 7:45 am #37358I got N3 this past summer with my buddy, and he is going for N2 this winter… but I decided to hold off till next summer. I’ll have more confidence by then.
Good luck to anyone who goes for it this summer!
November 29, 2012 at 10:06 am #37361Good luck to everyone who is taking the test this Sunday.
November 29, 2012 at 4:33 pm #37370Whoa it has been a while since I’ve posted in this forum. Hope you’ve been studing. :)Since then I’ve managed to get into 日本学科 here in Budapest, so I’m pretty happy. We are learning lots of interesting stuff about Asia and Japan.
I’ll be taking N3 this Sunday.
The environment will be familiar for me since I’m going to take it in my university, so at least I’ll feel a little more comfortable :pOne of the requirements to get scholarship to Japan is to have N2. Is it possible to get it in one year?
Good luck you guys too :)
