Hello everyone!
My name is Burandon-sensei and I am learning Japanese for a number of reasons. For one, my fiance is Japanese and wish to be able to speak to her and her friends in Japanese. Second I am both a Judoka and a Zen Buddhist, both of which don’t technically require in-depth understanding of Japanese, however by understanding Japanese I can develop a greater appreciation for both :)
Outside of my interest in learning Japanese I am a math teacher, chess mentor, and athlete.
