A lot of the links on the lesson page seem to be messed up for me. They are seemingly linking to random lessons.

This. I clicked on a link from Season 1 in the Lessons menu and it took me to a page in Season 5. I was like, “whuh?”

Switch to HTML mode, type [ img ]insert url of image here[ /img ]

Delete the spaces between the brackets and the img and /img.

Ahhhh, ok – I was in HTML mode before, but I clicked the “img” button to generate code that started something like <img src="yadda yadda yadda"

I’d also like to see a little male/female sign under peeps avatars. I think there are a few folk here who are guys (I think) who have female Japanese avatars. Communication through text is easy enough to misinterpret as is, it’s even more so when you don’t know the gender of the sender. And yes that can make a huge difference in interpretation, especially when someone is trying to be sarcastic or cheeky.

As I said, it can make a big difference when interpreting what someone is saying. Not when they are asking or answering standard Japanese questions, but on the more social areas of the board.
