I think it’s awesome that you guys work on subs. Do you work from a transcript or is it all audio?

Today I listened to two jpod101 lessons, zeroed out my Anki cards again (feels great to be caught up!), and added some additional sentences to my sentence deck. I should reach 500 sentences sometime next week.

It’s all audio, but most shows have half the text on the screen in massively distracting vibrant colors.

But uh yeah, I completed my first day of N2 reviewing. The main weapon of choice (and only affordable choice) is this book and it is split into 20 days with each day having 54 N2 questions. First day, I got 39/52 right which is much better than I what I expected when I finished.

Day 1

So some things that tripped me up were the lack of vocabulary, or rather, I didn’t the readings for it which was the case for 刷る（する）。 There was a bunch of stuff which I just simply over thought like the readings for 屋外　and 勝敗 and a couple of other stuff which was more simple. Will keep that in mind for Day 2. Stuff like 盆地、吸入、and 酸素 I just simply didn’t know. And a few other questions I narrowed down to 2 options and just chose one, which wasn’t the right answer. I also didn’t time myself for 105 minutes but I will for Day 2. The reading passage at the end was incredibly harder than I thought. By 3rd paragraph, I had a fuzzy idea of what was going on and then got completely lost from then on lol. For this part there was 5 questions and at least I was still able to answer 3/5 of them correctly.

I’ve been looking after my sisters kids since last week. Can’t even fit in 5 minutes of Anki reviewing. Looking forward to them going back and pick up where I left of.
