ごらいこうPretty sure the Windows default for Japanese is called MS Mincho. Arial, so far as I know, doesn’t have Japanese characters at all.

Mark: No, but it’s marking the emphasis of the sentence. Rather than “please take a taxi from the station” it’s more like “from the station, please take a taxi”
Also, it’s トトロ. Names are still nouns, though, so I wasn’t gonna raise a fuss. =)

Oh, you’ll see it again. =) Also, there are house rules for advanced play – dakuten count, for example. Or a minimum length for words. Et cetera. Those are the “standard” rules, though – inasmuch as this sort of game has standard rules. =)

いっしょけんめいP.S. Katakana is ok. Also, in general rules, daikuten don’t matter – that is, if I end with ぱ, you can start with は, or vice versa. Glides are similar – if I end with しゃ, you can start with either しゃ or や.
