Exactly. Developing an application is a huge amount of work, especially when you make it work across at least three platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac) plus iOS (made by him) and Android.
Just think of all the time Anki has saved you and $25 is a bargain. I’d say if it saved you just five hours it would be worth it (and we know it is a lot more than that).
October 2, 2012 at 8:22 am in reply to: [Anki 2] How do you import a deck into an existing deck? #35868You can also move the cards from the imported deck to your “normal” deck.
To do this, open the card browser, select the cards you want to move and click on the sixth button in the top. Select which deck you want to move to and it’s done.
That’s the method I use, but I guess either works, so use whichever you find better/easier.
I agree with kanjiman8. My friend also asked me the same thing a while back.
It’s pretty.
Thanks Koichi, good job!
Just sent him an e-mail.
Thanks Hashi.
BertCurtis,
It is possible to type in Japanese on any keyboard using an IME.
Koichi teaches it on the end of the fourth season: http://www.textfugu.com/season-4/social-learning/9-2/
I think it is very useful to know how to do it from the start, though. If you have the time, spend 20 minutes setting it up, it is definitely worth it.Will do.
I don’t know if Koichi/Hashi has the time for it, but it would be great if that was fixed so as to not confuse anyone.Thank you very much kanjiman8.
