I'm an American woman in my 30s planning a trip to Japan in 2017 with my husband. Neither of us speak Japanese, so I want to learn it well enough to be able to navigate and enable us to explore Japan in a way that wouldn't be possible otherwise. We live in Minneapolis with our three kitties.
