I'm a 23 (soon to be 24) year old American just trying to learn Japanese. I've always been interested in Japanese gaming culture, specifically Anime, manga, JRPGs, visual novels, etc. ever since I was a wee lad. Because of this, I've always been interested in learning the Japanese language. Key word here is interested. I was interested, but I was never motivated enough to take action. Simply reading English subtitles was good enough for me. Well that all ends now! I'm in it for the long run.
