Well there’s the english version and I read that too
Whenever I feel down, or feel inadequate about my own ability, I usually read that same article again. Or I just relax and read Danny Choo’s How Discovering Japan Changed My Life

Basically learning on the go, and you’ll have plenty of time to do that.
If you get a lot of N2 problem books, you’ll have a better idea of whats gonna be there plus just fill in the gaps of whatever you don’t know and you would have an entire year to do that. Not doing so would be like wasting your time (as it relates to learning Japanese).
