Meaning: Left
The Narwhal construction group wants to build houses for narwhals. Instead of speaking for the narwhals like the right does, they take action and build houses for narwhals that need homes. These people are members of the left, liberal political party. Of course, they’re using lots of high taxes to pay for these houses, which the right doesn’t like. That’s how you know the left is involved in the construction.
Imagine a bunch of hippies building the houses. That’s how you’ll know they’re the liberal group, and on the left.
Reading: n/i
The on’yomi reading for left is also not important (just like 右). So, let’s just look at the vocab.
Vocabulary
a 左(ひだり)= Left (Direction)
