Meaning: Flat
You put horns on your antennae to make your TV signal better. Instead, the horns combined with the antennae create something that attracts all horned animals for miles around. The animals all come running, knock everything over (including your house) causing everything to be flat.
Imagine yourself, your house, your cat, your everything… all completely flat… ridiculously so (the more ridiculous the better).
Reading: へい
Then, after destroying everything of yours, they walk over to your pastures and eat all of your hay, because they’re quite hungry.
Feel angry about this too, because you were about to sell all that hay to make a living… good thing you’re probably not living anymore.
Vocabulary
Memorize the meanings of the first two words before moving on to the next kanji. You should be able to remember them just with the kanji alone (jukugo is like it’s own mnemonic, as long as you know the meaning of the kanji already, which you kind of should!). Learn the readings if you can.

- Reading: The kun’yomi reading. It’s a long one for being all inside the word like this. Think of someone, totally flattened. Do you know who Tyra (たいら) Banks is?
a 平日（へいじつ）＝ Weekdays
- Combo: 平 (flat) + 日 (day)
- Meaning: The flat days are the boring days. What are the boring days? They are weekdays.
- Reading: The readings are both on’yomi readings, though the on’yomi reading for 日 is one you didn’t learn before. You should be able to read half of this word and then learn the other half as じつ and not にち.
