Meaning: Reason
There are ten mouths, telling you the reason you are here.
You have to associate ten with this one, because there are other “number+mouth” radical combinations. In this case, it’s the ten mystics, who summoned you to a dark room. You can only see their mouths, and you don’t know why you’re here. Have them give you a reason for your summoning… is it some epic quest you have to do? Some punishment? Make it weird, whatever it is.
Reading: ゆう
“Why me?” you ask. “Because only you (ゆう) can do this,” they reply.
Just like most things like this, there’s always a specific person in mind. In this case, it’s you.
Vocabulary
What a lame kanji, having no kun’yomi. Makes it easier for you, though :D Also, there’s no words you’re ready to learn quite yet either, so move along and be ready for when it comes back, because you know this kanji’s just waiting to get back at you for ignoring it right now.
P.S. “THEY CAN NEVER TAKE OUR FREEEEEDOOOOMMMMMM (自由)!!!”
