Meaning: Mutual
There are two hooks, hooked together (you might have to look carefully to see them). Combining the two hooks, you have something that is mutual and beneficial to both pirates (I’m assuming they’re pirates, here).
Either way, the hook attack was done at the same time to each other, that’s why they were caught in this way. I’m sure the feeling of anger was mutual as well.
Reading: ご
The two pirates with their hooks in each other’s hooks are yelling at each other to remove each other’s hook first. One says “you go!” The other replies “No, you go!” Neither wants to go first, understandably.
If you can turn this into a child-fest of “you go” “no you go” back and forth, you’re more likely to remember it because of how ridiculous it is to see whining pirates… At least in my mind it is.
