Combining The Past With The Negative

When I think of “Past negative,” I think of dinosaurs (past) and gun (negative). Combine them, and you have awesome… but that’s not what this chapter is about, I suppose.

Up until now, you’ve learned:

  • です (it is)
  • じゃありません (it is not)
  • でした (it was)

Now it’s time to learn the last of this set…”it was not.” Doing this is so incredibly easy. How easy? It’s so easy I’m going to ask you to study some kanji and vocab, first.
