Common Japanese Nouns Vocab 41-50

“Life is too short to be small.” - Benjamin Disraeli

Alright! This is the last set of nouns / vocab you’ll be learning (for now, in this season, out of the core lessons). More vocab will of course need to be learned later on, but not for a teensy weensy while. Let’s finish this list then solidify what you’ve studied up until now (and use the new vocab to practice). Here’s your last ten, enjoy it while it’s hot!

  1. あたま (head)
  2. からだ (body)
  3. あさごはん (breakfast)
  4. にほん (Japan)
  5. でんわ (telephone)
  6. めがね (glasses)
  7. えんぴつ (pencil)
  8. たべもの (food)
  9. いす (chair)
  10. のみもの (beverage, drink)

You can study this list by downloading the Anki files for it. Before you begin, try to memorize one or two of the words right now – pick the ones that are especially memorable for you. This will give you some sort of foothold before you jump into flashcards with a bunch of words you don’t really know yet!

Import this deck into your “TextFugu Vocab” deck and then study away. Catch up if you’re behind.
