Kanji
“Improvement makes straight roads; but the crooked roads without improvement are the roads of genius.” - William Blake
Alright! Only one more thing before you can move on to the Season 2 review, where you reflect and think and stuff (oh, and then you move on to Season 3). There’s a set of five kanji you should study and learn, and they are:
| Kanji | Meaning | 音 (on) | 訓 (kun) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 小 | small | しょう | ちい.さい, こ |
| 山 | mountain | さん | やま |
| 川 | river | せん | かわ |
| 万 | ten thousand | まん | n/a |
| 丸 | circle | がん | まる |
After you’ve learned these five, you’ll want to import these to your decks. First is the regular kanji deck:
Then there’s the vocab associated with these kanji (which should be imported to your “TextFugu Vocab” deck).
Go through these until Anki tells you to stop then move on to the practice page where we’ll use some of these and practice the grammar you just learned earlier!
By finishing this page, you’ve learned five kanji, their meaning, and their pronunciation. After you’re done, head on over to the Season 2 Review. You’re doing good, making lots of progress!
