い Adjective Conjugation
“What you need to know about the past is that no matter what has happened, it has all worked together to bring you to this very moment. And this is the moment you can choose to make everything new. Right now.” - Unknown
If you wanted, right now, you could say “The banana is new” (バナナはあたらしいです). You couldn’t, however, say “the banana was new…” or “the banana was not new…” etcetera.
In this chapter, we’re going to go over the other three conjugations for the い adjectives, as well as go over and review な and い adjectives as a whole. Prepare for a lot of practice, as this chapter is supposed to bring everything together.
Before getting started, it’s important that you know both the い and な adjective vocab pretty well… as in, you should know all of them (with perhaps a few relapses here and there). It’ll help make this chapter a lot easier.
