4-Stroke Kanji Part 6

“If you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll probably not wind up there.” - Forrest Gump

There’s something a little different about the kanji you’re supposed to learn for this chapter. Instead of there being five . . . there are ten. The reason is because you’re getting better at learning kanji, and it’s time to push yourself a little harder. It’ll be uncomfortable at first (like how learning 5 kanji was uncomfortable at first, I’m sure), but it’ll get better as you get used to it (and get even better at learning kanji). So, ten kanji to learn. Just open up the pages in tabs using the table below. When you’ve read through them all, pop on back over here.

Kanji Meaning 音 (on) 訓 (kun)
door n/i
direction ほう かた
cow ぎゅう うし
father n/i ちち
fur もう
stop とまる
change ばける
beforehand n/a
district n/a

After you go through these kanji, and have learned all ten along with their on’yomi, you can move on to the next lesson. Take a quick break, though – you’ve had to learn and practice a lot this chapter.

By finishing this page, you’ve learned 10 new kanji, their meaning, and their on’yomi. You’ve also pushed yourself a little harder than before to learn more kanji, which, in the long run, will make you better at learning kanji (and help you learn even more)!
