Season 5 And Where It’ll Take You

We’ve already talked about this a little bit, but here’s a reminder.
Up until now was all about finishing your foundation stuff: nouns, verbs, and adjectives. What you learned before this will have gotten you ready for Season 5 (which makes total sense, right? TextFugu’s all about building off of things you already know).
Using the foundation work you did in Seasons 1 through 4, Season 5 will expand off of those. A lot of the chapters on Season 3 will be about pretty specific grammar concepts that come directly from the things you’ve learned before.
There is also a bigger focus on vocabulary and kanji. Now that you’ve got the basic grammar down, you need to be able to use it. The more vocab you know, the easier it is to communicate. In fact, if you don’t have vocab, you don’t have anything. Let’s learn a lot of useful vocab starting now. As long as you keep up with your reviews and study decks, you’ll really get a lot better at Japanese because of this. The hard part is keeping up and studying every day, though! I’m sure you can do it.
