Getting Constant Feedback

“Everybody needs feedback, and it’s a heck of a lot cheaper than paying a trainer.” – Doug Lowenstein

Getting feedback is simple… if you have ways of getting it. Here are some quick ways – think about what you’re doing right now, and see if you can add to it.

  • Using Lang-8
  • Using Lang-8 even more (you can get a ton of feedback if you use it a lot).
  • Any Japanese friends? Penpals? Etc.?
  • Language Forums.
  • Teachers, tutors, etc.
  • What else?

There’s lots of opportunity for feedback. Ask yourself where you like getting your feedback from, then get a lot of it. The more feedback you get, the better you’ll become. Don’t be irritated or grumpy about feedback – it’s just ways you can get better and… don’t you want to get better? I hope so. Go get more of it.

By finishing this page, you’ve been reminded that you need more feedback.
