If
“The doors we open and close each day decide the lives we live.“ – Flora Whittemore

In this lesson, we’re going to learn about “if.” By learning about “if” we’re also going to be practicing た-form (quite directly, actually). In fact, remembering how to do “if” grammar can be tied and connected directly to た-form verbs. If you ever need to remember how to do “if” you can come right back there and remember.
This lesson is going to be broken up into a few parts. First we’ll look at “if” with verbs: “If Bobby comes, hit him in the face.” Then, we’ll look at nouns: “If Bobby is a wrestler, then punch him in the stomach.” Finally we’ll look at “if” with adjectives: “If Bobby is big, run away.”
Then, we’ll expand on the “if” grammar point and learn how to say “why don’t you ______?” and “what about doing _____?” using the “if” grammar you just learned.
First up is “If-form”!
