Now we’re going to take a closer look at a couple of verbs you’ve sort of learned in the past (ある and いる). They cover some concepts you probably haven’t run into yet, and are quite special. While they are concepts you must learn to get decent at Japanese, the will also help us prepare for future grammar points that can’t be learned without this.
Also, this chapter will set us up for the next chapter especially nicely, especially the portions that have to do with “location” so pay special attention to those!
