Being Passive

“Active Evil is better than Passive Good.” – William Blake

In this chapter you’re going to be learning something called “passive” form (you’ll learn why it’s called this on the next page). This is used with verbs (you need more verb practice, so this is good) and it will take something you know already and flip it around, sort of rounding out your verbs experience. But first thing’s first. Let’s take a look at what passive form is and figure out how it works so you can start learning it and not be totally confused… just a little bit, hopefully. People who are confused actually learn more anyways, you know! So, let’s get confused.
