Season 7 Is About…

Season 7, I think, is where you start to get into the stuff that will make your Japanese a lot better. You’ve been working and working to get to this point. Learning a lot of little things and figuring out how they fit together. Now we can take those put-together pieces and apply them to other put together pieces to make something even bigger and more useful.
Season 7, to sum it up, is about connecting sentences and ideas. Communicating in short sentences works, but to sound fluent, you have to start talking in longer almost run-on sentences that go on and on for a really long time almost to an absurd degree where you start thing hey is this dude messing with me? Yes, I am. But, you will be making longer sentences (just not this long).
We’ll also continue to focus on verbs quite a bit. It’s no secret that a lot of communication has to do with doing things, so verbs will be an important focus for a long time (make sure you know them, it’ll make your life easier!).
So, there you have it. Make sure you study your verbs, and make sure you understand the concepts from the previous chapters. They will help you in Season 7 a lot, almost more-so than previous seasons. As the pyramid gets taller, the foundation has to be stronger, so make sure that’s there.
