The Verbs
“How you do anything is how you do everything.” – T Harv Eker
Some verbs only work in intransitive form. That’s good, because you don’t have to learn both forms. Some verbs work in both forms. That’s good because you get to learn more than one form (fun!). Just knowing there’s transitive and intransitive verbs in existence is one step, and it’ll get you part of the way.
But, to be able to use these well, you’ll have to learn the words, and you’ll probably have to learn them a lot like separate vocabulary (because that’s basically what they are). I’ve taken out the most common transitive / intransitive verb sets and put them together. I’ve also put together a deck for you to import on Anki that will help you to learn these as well, but that comes after you look at the table on the next page.
