“If you love two people at the same time, choose the second one, because if you really loved the first one you wouldnt have fallen for the second.” – Johnny Depp

Let’s take a little step away from it all and spend a couple of chapters looking at some of the littler things in (Japanese language learning) life. I think you’ve probably been doing a lot up to this point, and giving you a chance to catch up on vocab, sentences, kanji, and so on might be a relief. So, we’re going to do a few smaller lessons with more review and less new, though that’s not to say the next few lessons won’t be useful. This is good grammar!

In this chapter, we’ll be going over grammar that will allow you to say “while you’re doing something you’re doing something else” or “At the same time (as something else).” For example, you could say “I use my cell phone while driving” (You do? That’s terrible and dangerous!). Then, we’ll practice it, and then, we’ll practice everything (and it’ll be suggested you review your decks as well, at the end).

Let’s get started.
