The word ちょうだい is a weird one. It is both humble language and casual language at the same time. The way we’re going to use it is casual language, though. It’s used in much the same way as くれ (previous page).
やさいを食べてちょうだい？
Will [you] eat the vegetables for me?
ブラジルに行ってちょうだい？
Will you go to Brazil for me?
パソコンを買ってちょうだい。
Buy a computer for me.
水をのんでちょうだい。
Drink the water for me.
Notice how it doesn’t end with any of the normal sentence enders. In this case it’s a noun / suru verb, so you’d think it would end with a です or a する type thing, but since it’s casual it doesn’t. Kind of like how い-adjectives don’t end with です when they’re in casual form.
