Trying Out Sentences
“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
Sentences are also really easy (see a pattern here? You’ve gotten good at all the right to make this chapter easy peasy for yourself!). First, you just say that you’re going to do something.
I will eat sushi.
I will drink beer.
I will go to Seattle.
Then, you change it to てみる form to say you’re going to try to do that thing.
I will try to eat sushi.
I will try to drink beer.
I will try to go to Seattle.
See how simple that is? Think about some things that you would like to try to do. How would you say those things in Japanese? Try a few. Figured it out? Okay, let’s move on to the next page.
