Greetings humans, i am a 21 year old Canadian trying to learn the japanese language. wish me luck!

    why am i learning japanese?

well, when i first started to learn japanese i had very little motivation. It was more or less simply curiosity and a love for the japanese culture. I am completely fascinated with ANYTHING japanese. so i thought to myself “it would be fun to learn japanese, so if i ever get the opportunity to go to japan it’d be cool to have a general understanding of basic japanese.” Now however, my ambitions are a little higher than that.

I want to move to japan, and work for a whole year. I did some research and found a few different resources that help foreigners find jobs throughout japan with a working holiday visa; Valid for up to 12 months. I want to be fully immersed in the culture. I want to experience everything from the fast paced lifestyle of large cities such as tokyo, to the rural more traditional side of japan. And of course to fully appreciate the experience, i don’t want anything like a language barrier to hold me back.

arigotu gozaimasu, i wish you all the best on your endeavours.

    Hello, beautiful.
