    Hi, my name is Carlota, i live in Catalonia, Spain. I want to learn Japanese because I love languages, but as this is not a proper goal, I also want to learn so that I can go to Japan in 2 or 3 years and be able to communicate with people. I studied chinese for 3 years, I hope this will help a little and not confuse me.

    Carlota, welcome! It’s impressive that you’ve already studied Chinese for 3 years! What made you decide to switch to Japanese?

    I switched to Japanese because I like the culture and society better than the Chinese. Anyway, I am not taking this as a final decision. Maybe I will discover that in fact I prefer Chinese. I am thrilled about Japanese learning!
