I never got to use the old forums, but since this one needs filling up, I guess I’ll give it a try. Anyway, it looks fantastic!
@Koichi – I have partial(?) moderating abilities. I can trash comments, label them as spam, or move them from one thread to another. But there is no way to edit content in an actual post (unless I’m missing something). If the language filter disappeared, that might be an important moderating tool to have. ;)
I look away for a few months and everything changed!
Now, am I blind or there’s no search option in here?

@Koichi – it looks like I can edit very recent posts only. I can edit my last comment, sachiel’s, and yours, but not mayliu’s comment. Maybe editing is limited to the last 15 minutes?
@koichi I sincerely have no idea. I just fell so deeply in love with the half-dumb, half-rock and roll look of this thing that I use it about everywhere. I wonder if it’s not from one of the たまごっち toys, it kinda has that “feel”. But I still can’t find the name of it anywhere.
@Sachiel – Aw, dang, you’re right… I’m going to have to look into fixing that… would really mean setting up a search that would cover the entire site, which has some funny things to go along with it since this is a membership site… I should probably do that, tho…
@winterpromise – Ahh, I see how they’re doing it. Do you still see the trash/spam/split options though? editing closes after 15 minutes, though the more I think about it that seems like a good idea… best to just delete things after too much time has gone by, I suppose… I don’t know how to change this anytime soon, but perhaps more options will come with more plugin updates (I hope!).
@mayliu – It’s pretty rockin. Makes me think of a Japanese rock-a-doodle-doo + crayon no shinchan kind of thing.
Awesome, I hope it handles code better because the original forum was pretty bare bones in terms of formatting. (like not being able to post images in a new post)

@Sheepy I think it should be… but I haven’t done much with it. YouTube embed code works, and HTML image tags work (and really almost every HTML tag seems to be doing pretty well, so far, even ones not listed below). Here’s to hoping! We’ll find out soon enough, I suppose :/
Ok so after a few minutes. The colour scheme of the site is still really bright to be honest.(Like a lot of the links are grey on a grey background) Also I wish the text in the reply box wasn’t grey since the background is also grey.
Last thing is, it seems harder for users who don’t know html to post things with tags. Before there was a button for generating tags, if there is a way to bring back buttons I think that would be great.

Totally agree too on the HTML… :( No way to fix this at the moment, but I imagine with updates to the bbpress plugin (and when they allow bbpress plugin plugins) I can fix this back to the good ‘ol days. Was definitely easier before! Should be fixed soon, or at least as soon as possible!
