Well at least now most image websites provide the full code for the image anyway.
Oh and I mean like when you make a post (like this one) or even a new post. The text is a middle grey.
May 23, 2011 at 4:34 pm #11071ooh, I see it now… have to adjust my monitor :/
May 23, 2011 at 4:38 pm #11073Links should be colorful now:
May 23, 2011 at 4:39 pm #11074May 23, 2011 at 4:43 pm #11075Haha, reminds me of a bad experience I had making a website with a team. I was designing the layout and someone told me one of the elements was totally misaligned and for the love of me I couldn’t see it. We were stressed and ended up arguing for an hour. Turns out my monitor contrast was so high, I couldn’t grey block poking into the content area >_>
May 23, 2011 at 4:52 pm #11077ahhghghhghghg – link posts will have to wait for another day… can’t figure out how to change the colors… Even firebug is giving me the wrong info :(
May 23, 2011 at 8:22 pm #11160I don’t mind the new forums. Integration is good. It feels like when I reformat my computer… A fresh start, sure a bit troublesome, but the best option in the long run.
May 23, 2011 at 8:32 pm #11162I wasn’t active in the old forums, but I did poke around a bit. I don’t think it’s too bad and I think your reasons are all very just. If I were you, I would have done the same thing. In my own experience of running a site and a forum on the side, I found them being completely separate from each other was a hassle for exactly the reasons you stated. So I can’t really blame you!
Anyway, lookin’ good! Keep up the great work, Koichi!
May 23, 2011 at 8:49 pm #11167New forum looks neat and clean. Awesome! I love changes, especially new a new start!
Keep it up Koichi!!
May 23, 2011 at 10:06 pm #11177I’m liking this so far, so I guess I’m a believer…? ^^ (yeah, I wasn’t a big fan of the old forums, so…)
May 24, 2011 at 1:19 am #11185As a dial-up user this change makes the forum a dozen times slower to use than the former. Such is the unfortunate effect of technology marching ahead while I’m stuck in a past era. Nevertheless, I was hardly a spectacularly active forum poster and this change is overall beneficial. Thanks for all the updates of late.
May 24, 2011 at 4:30 am #11207I think its the lack of caching? I’m not sure why its slower.
May 30, 2011 at 7:48 pm #11687Oi! Question:
Is it possible to add a login function the the forum pages themselves so you don’t have to leave them to login and then be automatically redirected to the dashboard? -
