A bit of a weird but minor question that I’ve kinda been wondering for a while: what’s the deal with the little paper bookmark that always seems to come in Japanese books? You know, the one with the ISBN and RRP and publisher information and other things? Is it the Japanese equivalent of the inside-front copyright page?
It seems like it is mostly for advertising purposes, but you can try to google it yourself ^^

Along with those, all my light novels have come with actual bookmarks… and they often have wierd designs.
