    It seems like I remember reading about a website similiar to Lang-8 where you could request an audio recording of a native speaker saying vocab. I can’t seem to recall what the site was called. Can anyone point me in the direction of such a resource?

    You’re probably thinking of Forvo: http://www.forvo.com/
    It only lets you make very short recordings, though.

    You could just beg people to read things on Lang-8 and ask them use something like Audioboo, too.
