Hello, My name is Mat, and I just started learning Japanese using Textfugu!
I’m living in Seattle, WA at the moment. I think that I want to learn Japanese because I love
Japanese film and grew up watching anime.. I’m also really interested in Buddhism and
feel an odd/interesting connection with Japanese culture. Also I’m an artist and really want to
travel/potentially have exhibitions in Japan, so that would be a plus if I could speak Japanese.I tried out the beginning of the first season and really enjoyed it so I decided to go for it!
I’m memorizing Hiragana right now, I have about half of it down i think.Thanks! Hi and bye!

Hi Mat, and welcome. I joined textfugu a couple of weeks ago and well I’m doing everything is recommended right now I feel like inmerse in japanese :P. Let’s see how our progress is doing in six months. By the way I love anime, manga and japanese movies.
