So I joined TextFugu my junior year of college. I stuck with it for a while, but I went through a really bad mental period and fell out of practice. I am now in my first year at my Master’s program, and I would like to become proficient in Japanese, as being proficient in one or more non-English languages is important for my future career (I want to be a library cataloger).

I really love the language, and I know a lot about modern/contemporary Japanese literature and film, and I especially love Buddhist and Shinto ghost stories and folktales.
