Some people have asked me to help them figure out what the Kanji in this picture mean (or if its even Japanese or Chinese):
Seeing as how I am a beginner I have no idea what this might actually mean, can anyone point me in the right direction? Also, sorry if I should have posted this elsewhere!

It’s chinese. 天使 （てんし） is “angel” in japanese. also when i went to confirm its meaning through pictures on google images, i just got a lot of 手ぶらをする女
Seeing as 天使 already means angel in Japanese and I can’t find 琪 anywhere in a Japanese dictionary, I think it’s safe to say it’s Chinese.
Anyway, it does mean angel in Chinese, they’re just missing a 儿, making it sound like ‘ang-’.
安琪儿=(an-chi-er)
Give it a spin in Google Translate (press the speaker button after you paste it in).
I can find 琪 in my dictionary. It apparently means “a type of jade” and its readings are キ and たま. It’s so much not a joyo kanji, though, that I can’t even type it on my iPad – I had to copy yours.
