Please help me use Lang-8.
My problem with this is that I’m a very boring person (that’s not true) and I have nothing to really talk about.
All I do is pretty much work out (weight-training, bike-tours and stuff), play video games and learn Japanese, while studying Biology. But there’s nothing really to talk about. “Today I did 76 Pull-Ups in 10 sets” just makes me shiver. Or “I rode 30 miles on my bicycle and the weather was so-so, but my butt hurts like a mother”.
I don’t have any friends (that’s not true, either) or do anything else that I consider to be particulary interesting to write about. Pretty much only solitary stuff. I bake my own bread and cake, yeah… mhm, maybe I’m just a bit harsh with myself. I just don’t have any “events” or stuff to write about.
Why must I be so boring? I need some inspiration to get me writing about.. something.. anything.

AnonymousJust write about what happens in your life. If nothing does happen in your life (which I highly doubt), write about what you observe around you in life – for example, world issues, political events, etc.
You don’t have to write about yourself. You can try making up stuff.
Try making a list of some words that you don’t know very well, and then come up with a fictional story that uses some of these words.
I once wrote an entire entry based solely on talking about the fact that I had nothing to write about.
I’ve seen people on there write about what’s in the news, their opinions (on anything), what they’re studying (e.g. your biology) even stories and dialogues.
If you really like cats then write about cats. Sounds like a good topic to me, don’t you think?
I wrote about not having many friends.

was my new entry =) I tried to ask what a true friend really is, and gave my opinion that some “friends” really aren’t that, they’re just acquaintances.
Maybe some of you wanna become friends with me (on Lang-8)? Okay, acquainted goes first xD
You could laugh at my 馬鹿外人-ness and simplistic writing. Or we could share ideas and stuff to improve our Japanese.

I don’t see the point or fun in your suggestion there, honestly.
I asked on my Lang-8 a question pretty much the same as yours through a journal for suggestions on what to do when I can’t think of anything to write, and one of those answers was like “Well obviously I don’t write anything if I can’t write anything”.
