My names is Andreas (in norwegian that is).
Ive been a member for quite some time, but since its summer i got alot spare time to study japanese, well thats the plan.

im actually 50/50 nor/jap so my reason for studying japanese is obiously to be able to communicate and ofc get to know my relatives from the otherside of the world, and sure i want to learn more about their culture, and my plan is to continue my education there.

My relatives actually lives in soma, one the places that got hit by tsunami luckily everyone survived! though some still lives in shelters.

    Welcome to TextFugu, Andreas!

I personally find it awesome you’re half Japanese and having relatives in Japan – wishing to communicate with them is a good reason!
I’m happy that your all your relatives survived the tsunami, how relieving.

    Good luck learning Japanese.
