    Hey,

I’ve had a little experience learning Japanese in the past but never really stuck with it, it’s always been off an on although I have, over time, made little bits of progress. I’d like to speed it up a little and focus on it more and after reading season 1 of this course I thought this would be a great way to approach it and would suit me really well. I recently visited Japan and that has motivated me to really learn the language. I enjoy reading and having the ability to read and understand Japanese would be fantastic. I am currently studying computer science and working full time so this course fits well in to my study schedule.

So far the course has been great.

Visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Sapporo, Fuji, Kagoshima, Hirashima Osaka and Tokushima. It was fantastic got to see some amazing stuff I’d really like to go back there was so much I didn’t do. We spent a week in tokyo and easily could of stayed a month I reckon. Yeah we took heaps of photos took a while to sort through when I got back. I’m guessing your a Japan fan as well? ;)

    Yah.

I was hoping to visit Kagoshima, because I had a friend living there at the time. Unfortunately, when I was there, they hadn’t extended the Shinkansen that far yet, so it would have basically taken us all day to get there, and all day to get back again. Wound up going Tokyo -> Osaka -> Hiroshima -> Kyoto -> Tokyo, with various side trips here and there.

Hello, blue turtle! Your top hat is snazzy.

I have also been learning Japanese on and off, and have recently decided to give it the dedication it deserves. I am also, as it happens, studying computer science and currently working full time. I am not from Australia though. I’m from Ohio, which is sort of like a mini Australia when you think about it.

Not from the desk of Eihiko. Eihiko's boss took his desk away from him.
