    Hey,
My name is Ryan. I’ve just joined the ranks of those who are learning Japanese! My girl friend, Stephanie, got us both registered on the site and I am excited to begin learning. If y’all have any advice let me know!

Oh and I guess I should put this up….

My reason for wanting to learn Japanese is that I want to expand my knowledge of the Japanese culture and language to a point where I would be able to travel to Japan and not be tied down to normal touristy spots. Also as a business student I would love to be able to use what I learn here to learn how businesses, such as Toyota and Sony, are so successful.

Hello to you, but I think I already said hi in the previous post, I’m guessing. It was your girlfriend then!? :D

Anyway, welcome to you too and best of luck for the studies.

Talking about business, Sony is succesful but lately they are are like a promised land for hackers with all they’ve just been experiencing.

    Welcome to TextFugu.

I already mentioned this in Stephanie’s introduction but…

Good luck (to both of you) learning Japanese.

By the way, I think the business student reason is a very cool and unique reason. I’m now wondering myself.

Good luck with your studies. It’s cool that you are learning together with your girlfriend as you have an instant conversation buddy!

How cool that you get to learn Japanese with your girlfriend. I too want to travel to Japan and not be restricted to the normal touristy spots.

    Good luck with your studies!
