Hi there. Raj here. This is my second time learning Japanese. I tried learning by myself the first time but I know now why I failed. I couldn’t answer the first question, “Why are you learning Japanese?”.
I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work in Japan again. I like it here and I hope to some day have a small home here, maybe close to the ocean. For that I need to be able to talk to the people and understand their culture. And that is why I must learn Japanese.
I really enjoy reading the articles on Tofugu and that was my gateway drug to Textfugu. It is an amazing idea to post about Japanese culture, all the while subconsciously enticing the reader to learn the language. I am very impressed.
I am taking Japanese lessons twice a week but I want to supplement that with Textfugu, because I like your innovative approach to teaching Japanese. I am also looking forward to WaniKani when it comes out.

P.S. I am a fan of Starcraft too(II? :D), having played the original in my teens. Looking forward to Diablo III coming out soon.
